Green slate is known for being the world's hardest most durable slate as it is a metamorphic volcanic stone that was formed 450-500 million years ago. 

Slate is perfect for garden pathways and driveways as the shape of the green slate 40mm allows the slate to bed down in use, ensuring a more comfortable walking surface.

With all naturally quarried products there will always be an element of dust on all materials. The dust can be cleared by simply hosing the materials once laid or letting nature take its course by letting the dust wash away over time with rainfall.
